Ham & Bean Soup

Ham and Bean Soup

  • Ham Bone & cubed ham
  • 4 cans northern white beans
  • 1 can sliced carrots
  • 1-2 containers of chicken broth (64oz)
  • 1tsp celery salt
  • 2tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 chopped onion (or 1Tbsp Onion Powder)
  • 2tbsp Worcestershire
  • 1tbsp minced garlic
  • 4 Bay Leaves
  • Corn bread
  • Baking Cups

Dump in all ingredients. Don’t drain any of the canned ingredients. Simmer in crock pot for 6+ hours. Remove ham bone & bay leaves prior to serving and cut off any chunks of ham worth keeping in the soup. Fill liquids as high as possible as ham bone will free up space when pulled. Can always add more chicken stock too.

Serve with corn bread muffins.
