Ingredients:
- 2 Bags Frozen Hash Browns
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup (*Alternatively make vegan cream of chicken soup)
- 80oz Containers of chicken broth
- 1Tbsp onion powder
- 2 blocks cream cheese Or Kitehill Cream Chz alternative
Instructions:
Simmer all ingredients except cream cheese. Add cream cheese about 30-60mins before serving. Right before serving use immersion blender to cream soup.
Serve with shredded cheese, bacon bits, sour cream, dinner rolls.
*Alternative (Vegan) Cream of Chicken Soup:
- 6Tbsp Butter
- 2Tbsp Flour
- 1C Almond Milk
- 1C Chicken or Vegetable Broth
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and whisk until smooth. Next add almond milk and broth gradually. Bring to a boil and continue whisking for 2 minutes. Add this mixture to the soup. Feel free to salt and pepper if desired.
