Smoked Pork Tenderlin

BBQ Dry Rub & Marinade

I use this dry rub on pork and chicken. It is sugar free! One of my favorites to purchase is The Squeal by Kansas City’s Cowtown, but it has sugar in it and is pricey like a lot of good rubs out there, so here’s my version.

  • 3Tbs Chili Powder
  • 3Tbs Paprika
  • 2Tbs Garlic Salt
  • 1tsp Black Pepper
  • 1tsp Onion Powder
  • 2tsp Cumin
  • 1tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4tsp Cayenne

I like to use this in combination with a marinade for smoking. You can just use the mustard bottle for approximate measurement.

BBQ Marinade

  • 1 1/4C (1 Bottle) Spicy Brown Mustard
  • 3/4C Worcestershire (about 1/2 a mustard bottle, can substitute apple cider vinegar to be sugar free although Worcestershire probably doesn’t have that much sugar in it.)
  • 1/2C Red Hot Sauce (about 1/4 of a mustard bottle)
